It Has Been One Year

Well, it has officially been a year since my very First Post on this blog. I did not know what I wanted to do with it (and I still don't) but it has been fun and therapeutic keeping it. I find myself living more in the moment and more aware of the little day to day things that I do because of it. I have noticed that sometimes when writing about a challenge or problem I am facing I find myself coming up with alternatives that I probably wouldn't have if I wasn't writing things down. Several of my posts did not make it to a "Published" status, but writing them helped clear things up for me. All in all it has been a great experience.

This is probably the best time to send a big thank you to my two top readers. They are shy about leaving comments, but are always commenting "offline" on what I post and find my life "fascinating" (OK, I made up that last part, but it is my blog and I can write what I want). They are really very good friends and I consider them part of my family (plus they keep threatening to do something really bad to me so they can finally make it on the blog). So without further ado.... here they are!!!

Diana and Lilly! Love you guys!

I found this cool site through another blog! It creates "Word Clouds" from text that you enter and it gives prominence to the words that appear more frequently in the text. I entered the text from all the posts during this year and this is what it gave me back! Isn't it cool?

You can see exactly what the focus of my blog has been this last year. Looking at it made me think of some other words that maybe next year I should try and get to show up more prominently.

Here is looking forward to a new year of blogging!
