Sleepover Party

Just wanted to share some scenes from Kaitlin's 11th birthday party this weekend. She had a sleepover with four other girls. I was a little anxious about how things would go, being that "tweens" tend to be a little dramatic at times, but overall things went pretty well, there were some tense moments here and there but they were able to overcome that. Between the Wii, movies, games, getting nails done, and munchies, there was a lot of fun going around but not much sleep at all. I believe they finally went silent around 3AM and by 6AM I could hear some of them talking again.




Sunday morning we had the rest of the family come over for brunch and games. Joel organized several fun and messy games that the kids just loved. By two o'clock most of the girls went home and we were able to finally sit down and take a rest.





It's hard to believe Kaitlin is 11 already! She is such a special girl and is growing into a beautiful young woman. We love you Kaitlin! Hope you had a very Happy Birthday!
